Processed data and cookies
Polytech does not record any data related to the visits on peri-polytech.com website.
Cookies are small text files that are transferred to visitor’s hard disk where they are memorized to be therefore retransmitted to the same websites on the next visit by the same user. They are divided into two types:
- technical cookies, used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communication network or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society of a service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user”. They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. Among them are the so-called essential (or strictly necessary) cookies, which enable certain functions without which it would not be possible to fully enjoy the website on which one is browsing. User's prior consent is not required for their installation.
- Profiling cookies, that create user’s profiles and are used to send advertisements in line with the preferences expressed by the visitor while surfing the net. In this case, the visitor must be informed about their use and must express the consent.
Finally, the cookies are divided into first-party cookies, managed by the website owner, and third-party cookies, managed by third parties.
Polytech’s website does not use cookies, except for those that are automatically generated by the system at the time of the access and which only register the information at the time of access and the URL of the user. These cookies allow website to work better and are therefore essential and temporary.
Job applications
Website’s “Join us” section provides two methods to sending a job application: by responding to advertisements published on external job search web platforms (that have their own privacy policy) and by sending a CV spontaneously to our e-mail address hr@peri-polytech.com.
In both cases, Polytech processes only the data on your resume, which are processed for the following reasons:
- Recruitment or selection of personnel and/ or management of spontaneous applications;
- Management of any requests for information received to the e-mail address hr@peri-polytech.com.
These data are processed by authorized and trained personnel, respecting the EU Regulation 2016/679.
Regarding the methods of processing, it will be carried out both manually and through electronic instruments, in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and security provided by law and Polytech’s internal regulation.
Some data may sometimes be processed on behalf of Polytech also by third party companies that carry out auxiliary and complementary activities to ours in the research/selection of employees. In such cases, you will be provided with an additional privacy policy by such third party companies and, therefore, your data will be transmitted and processed only with your prior consent.
Your data will not, in any case, will not be sent outside the European Union.
The curricula will be kept, both in their paper and electronic versions, for two years from the moment of their receipt; after that, the data will be deleted.
According to articles 6 and 9 of the EU Regulation 2016/679, explicit consent to the processing of data for the purposes above is not necessary, as this processing concerns the data sent to Polytech by the interested party by replying to a job advertisement or by spontaneous application for a possible for the possible establishment of a work/collaboration relationship.
Users’ rights
At any time, you can: withdraw the consent to the data processing; get to know which of your personal data are in our possession and their use, request their rectification or integration, as well as their cancellation, portability, limitation to treatment or oppose their treatment. This should be done by sending an email to hr@peri-polytech.com. If you believe that the processing of your data has been made illegitimately, you can make a complaint to the Italian data Protection Authority at this e-mail address: www.garanteprivacy.it.
